The 92nd Family Reunion
is History.
What a memory it has left.
Ninety three Maestros arrived with 73 performing.
Their sound and presence was spectacular.
Maestros arrived in Madison, WI from all over the USA.
The
PreRally rehearsals began on Sunday, July 26 at 2:00 PM following parking on
Willow Island at the Alliant Energy Center.
The
Maestros were featured on the first of three evening entertainment evenings for
the convention. They presented the
musical “Back to Your Senior Year in High School” complete with choreography
and costumes in seven scenes. The
audience reminisced their senior year
from football season through graduation.
Maestros
performed the traditional morning coffees holding captive their large
audiences. The sound and size of the
group
of performers in red and white was commanding.
Several
Maestro presented solos and ensemble numbers.

performed for the Volunteer Dinner, motor home preview,
ice cream social, small
groups on the convention grounds
and daytime entertainment.

Maestros
invited guests to a Heavy Hors D’oeuvres Happy
Hour.
Many of the officers enjoyed the
delectable fair.
Parking crew graciously
loaned their tent for this affair.
The
Maestros were called on to present” Oh Canada” and the “Star Spangled Banner”
for Governing Board, General Meeting and the Thursday evening entertainment. A vocal group and eight trumpets
captivated
the audience in this salute.
Charles
Marston directed the Maestros.
Guest
conducting were Maestros Gary Robinson, Rich Kale, arranger, Sharon Jackson and Sally Boie.
The
traditional military salute put the focus on Maestro efforts!
