The purpose of Music Camp stresses
variety! Attendees took an indepth look
at arrangements in many styles. These
included Dixieland, gospel, big band jazz, and rock and pop. Afternoons and evenings emphasized reading a
variety of styles music provided by attendees at Music Camp.
Music Camp was founded by The Frustrated Maestro
Chapter, Sharps and Flats, of the Greater Eastern Area 10 years ago! The vision and founders, David Ricketts and
wife Wilma, were honored during a meal at Music Camp. David presented a history of the camp. He was presented a stuffed Baby Elephant
which identifies him with his redentions of “Baby Elephant Walk.”
