Western Area Rally Goes West----January 12-16, 2011.

Indio, California ---January 12-16, 2011

The West Coast Frustrated Maestros augmented the rally theme Back to the Old West with Western for the area rally January 16-20, 2011. The Original Frustrated Maestro chapter hosted the event. Gary Robinson succeeds Art Lester as president of the Original Chapter.



A large group of Maestros, both band and the chorus, were directed by band director Gary Robinson, chorus director Margaret Osborne and choir director Jay Bloumenthal Congratulations to the directors for an excellent job.


The Bob's Cats, a group of about 7 band members, entertained at the volunteer dinner and at the ice cream social.

A lot effort and work was put into making the floats and personal costumes depicting the old west for the parade.

The pizza lunch was served by the original chapter on the last day of rehearsal. Pleasant day temperatures completed the perfect setting.
