The Yankee Doodle
Dandies honored the memory of its founder, Bob Allen. This Frustrated Maestro chapter was founded on July 17, 1996.

Frustrated Maestros
presented evening entertainment on July 19.
“Dance Party—A Salute to Bob Allen” and invited the audience to the
dance floor. A slideshow of Bob Allen
pictures was displayed while emcee Bob
Toppe delivered a script of Allen’s life and announced musical selections. The rally goers danced to polkas,
country-western, big band,and pop-rock
tunes.

Northeastern Area VP, Paul DuBois, presented a plaque to the family of Bob Allen. Accepting the plaque was Maestro friend Joan Bamberger.

YDD Maestros parked
on Bob Allen Drive and Lois Allen Lane again this year adjacent to the North
Expo.

YDD Maestros
performed for the Morning Coffee Hours.
Day one the hours were 9:30 – 11:00 to play for those rally
arrivals. Days two and three the alarms
rang to get the performers into the North Expo for the traditional performances
beginning at 7:30 AM.

for the rally included the Northeastern Area Yankee Doodle Dandies banner.

inspiring military salute ended the Maestro morning coffee performances.

small group played for the yummy ice cream social/chapter fair.

A hot pancake
breakfast for the rally ended Maestro performances. A small group enjoyed performing a variety of
tunes for the breakfast goers.

The rally ended for
Maestros on Sunday morning. All books
were turned in and carted off for their ride elsewhere.
