Frustrated Maestros
gathered at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on August 22-30, for the 87th
International Convention. Sixty-five
responded to Rally Captains Charlie and Marcia Atkinson to enjoy another
Maestro experience.

The “mini town” fairground
provided a variety of architectural structures for the convention.

Lynn Gilmore
conducted the band and chorus. Lynn
concluded his Maestro directing with this International event. Maestros of GLAS have relinquished his directing
and wife Mary Gilmore as librarian after 13 years of dedication.

Maestros began the PreRally
with an organization meeting and rehearsals.

The annual Maestro
meeting was conducted by the Rally Captain and a representative was there from
each chapter at the rally.

The traditions of
Happy Hour provided a time to enjoy friends from California to Florida and
Connecticut, Canada and states in between.
During the PreRally opportunities to eat were enjoyed. The group had a burger and side dish meal, and trip to Golden Corral.

The traditional
pancake breakfast was held on Sunday morning.
Invited guests, FMCA officials and maestros enjoyed the early morning
meal. Frustrated Maestro founder Bob Gobrecht
began this tradition in the 80ies.

Maestros
were well displayed at the Chapter Fair with four tables showing the positives
of being a Frustrated Maestro.

Maestros provided
music for morning coffee hours.
Soloist and small groups provided features during the Maestro
performances.
A combo group
entertained with Dixieland, pop and rock tunes.

Canadian and American National Anthems for the Opening Evening Entertainment
Governing Board, the General Meeting. |

FMCA gathers for the
