SEA Salutes the Military 2013

SEA Sharps arrived at the Hernando County Airport
for the February 2-9, 2013 Pre rally and rally. 
The practice tent was set up by the early arrivals.

  Rally theme was “SEA Salutes the Military.”       Band and chorus used February 3-5, 2013 in rehearsals.    

A continental style breakfast was served at the tent.  Musicians enjoyed muffins, fruit, juice and yogurt.  Happy hours brought out many tempting treats.

In tradition of Frustrated Maestro performances the group played and sang during the Morning Coffee and donuts hour to good crowds.

A morning salute to the military supported the rally theme.  Maestros presented Kale arrangements of “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “You’re In The Army Mr. Jones,” and “Over There.”

Each noon the Dixie group played for the crowd at the food court.

Maestros played for the traditional rally parade.

David Fuller, SEA Sharps president, was rally maestro-director.

Carl Turner was the chorus director for the rally.   Rich Kale and Charles Marston were guest conductors. Cindy Peterson cued the band. 

Maestros provided the music before Opening Ceremonies.  Two Maestros sang the two National Anthems, Oh Canada and the Star Spangled Banner.

In tradition the ending of the 2013 SEA rally Maestros dinned together before departing.
