Frustrated
Maestros from all over the USA arrived at the Camplex, Gillette, WY on June 14,
2013 to do what Maestros do best!
The mood was set with the display of vintage coaches and the nostalgia room.
“One July weekend in 1963, 26 house cars
gathered on the grounds of the Hinckley School, in Hinckley, Maine, to view a
solar eclipse
and discuss forming an owner’s association. The result was
on July 20, 1963 the Family
Motor Coach Assosciation was born.”

The Cam-plex at Gillette, WY welcomed
the 2639 coaches. Family coaches numbered 2288 and 351 were commercial coaches.

luck….a pot luck complete with cake.

Pat
Bangasser,Rockers vice presiden, was rally captain in the absence of Tom and
Fran Rothdiener absent due to medical concerns.
Diane Jackson served as co-captain.

Maestros rehearsed prior to the Morning Coffee
Hours.
|
The
jazz combo rehearsed and performed during Morning Coffee and for the Ice Cream
Social.
 Three traditional morning coffee hours got Maestros up and seated by 6:30 AM for performances from 7:00 to 9:00 Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  
The
director was Bruce Cullings from the Rockers.
The
chorus was directed by Cynthia Colter.
 Charles Marston directed the band as they accompanied three soloists. 
Maestros
were featured showing the multi-talents of the group.
 
Maestros
enjoyed eating! One morning was started
with a pancake breakfast. They gathered
in red for the Volunteer Dinner. A noon pizza party included National Officers.
